RRISD uses the Oral Proficiency Interview provided by Language Testing International, a company accredited by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign languages.

Please contact your student’s high school counsellor who will give more information about scheduling an Oral Proficiency Interview for your student.

When your student achieves the required score on the OPI, he/she will be automatically issued high school credit(s) on his/her transcript.

The OPI is only available to high school students due to the required sophistication of the language as well as the knowledge and maturity required to answer the interview questions.
